As many of you may have read, on Saturday the Salt Lake Tribune ran an article titled “Landlords evict hundreds of Utah renters each month despite a ban during the pandemic.”

The article was written by a few individuals (I would not call them reporters or journalists) who had “investigated” evictions for a few months. They contacted our office concerning several eviction matters. To give balance to their perspective, we assisted them in a review of the cases with some background information to show why each eviction was done properly and with good cause.
